  • 100g ruby chocolate chips
  • 100g white chocolate chips
  • Any additional decorative pieces such as mini chocolate hearts you prefer

Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting Your Valentine’s Day Flat Croissant

1. Croissant (30 minutes)

  • If using Délifrance Heritage Butter Croissant ready to bake, defrost for 15 minutes
  • While it is defrosting, pre-heat oven to 190 degrees Celsius
  • Following defrosting, bake between 2 baking sheets for 19 minutes
  • After baking the croissants, allow them to cool before coating with chocolate

2. Preparation (5 minutes)

  • While the croissant is baking;
  • Melt each of the 2 types of chocolate in separate bowls.  Follow the manufacturers instructions for your preferred chocolate

3. Dressing

  • Coat half of each croissant with ruby chocolate
  • Then add white chocolate and draw lines
  • Using a knife tip, draw vertical lines through the white chocolate to create the marbling effect

  • Refrigerate to set the chocolate
